We all have heard about the word ‘Karma’, but do we know its actual meaning? Often, we
relate ‘Karma’ to ‘work’ and by doing much hard work, we think that we are doing so much
‘Karma’, but why are we not getting favorable results in that proportion? The answer to this
question lies in the fact that unless we do our destined karmas, it’s highly improbable that
we would be able to reap the fruits of our hard work!
So, let’s understand the difference between ‘Karma’ and ‘Destined Karmas’. ‘Karmas’ are the
instructions of God which we get in the form of religious books Vedas, Upnishads, Geeta,
Bible etc. These ‘Karmas’ are same for all the humans which every person should religiously
follow; They are related to paap and punya.
Destined Karmas are those deeds which are unique for every person. We can understand
this by the example of Arjun in Geeta; His destined Karma was to fight war against his own
guru, which can be considered highly ominous according to religious books, and hence Arjun
was not ready to do it. But, when Lord Krishna made him understand that this is one of your
destined Karma, it was only then that Arjun agreed to do it. In the same way,we, human
beings do not know our destined karmas, which are of two types: your destined mandatory
karmas which you should essentially do and your destined forbidden karmas which you
should refrain from doing. Your destined forbidden karmas might be religiously correct, but
they might prove disastrous for you if you do them!
Your destined karmas harmonize the five elements of your body, namely- Air, Earth, Ether,
Fire and Water and three gunas of existence, namely- Sato-gun, Rajo-gun and Tamo-gun.
So, when you follow your Code of Karma, you can achieve the full potential of your destiny
by removing the obstacles that are impeding your progress.
Often, we come across people who do not believe in astrology as they think work is karma.
They fail to understand the significance of destined karmas. One should understand that, just
like the Universe, human body is also made up of five elements and three gunas; But, their
ratio is different in each human being. Just like, seven sur or musical notes give rise to
innumerable melodies, in the same way, the eight elements-gunas give rise to innumerable
destined karmas which are unique for every person according to their ratio in their body. As we know, the palm impressions (friction ridges) of two persons cannot be exactly same,
similarly, the set of destined karmas for two persons cannot be exactly same.
Now the question arises, how do we know what are our destined karmas? Planets, rashi,
nakshatra help only partially in knowing our destined karmas; For complete knowledge of
destined karmas, graphical study of your palm impressions (friction ridges) is required. This
43-year research on friction ridges has been conducted in Bharat Jyotish Shodh Sansthan
under the supervision of astrological scientist Shri Bharat Gyan Bhushan. When you know
your destined karmas, you don’t need to know your future; you yourself can become the
architect of your destiny!
Salient features of Code of Karma
Apart from your destined mandatory karmas which you should essentially do and your
destined forbidden karmas which you should refrain from doing, your personal Code of Karma
also includes following:
